Northop and Sychydn Community Council
Northop Community Council comprises 13 Community Councillors who represent the Wards of Sychdyn and Northop. There are 6 Councillors on the Northop Ward and 7 on the Sychdyn Ward. The Council is elected every 4 years and the current Council was returned on 1st May 2008. (The current Membership is attached)
The current Chairman is Councillor Reg Evans and the Vice-Chairman is Councillor Tony Sharps who were elected at the Council's Annual Meeting on 12th May, 2008.
The Council meets every second Monday of the month (except August) and the meetings are held in the Edith Bankes Memorial Institute and commence at 7.00 pm. The agenda for each meeting together with the minutes of the previous meeting are displayed in the Post Offices and Village Halls in both villages. |
