Looking Back Over 2008

In the closing months of 2008, Northop celebrated the coming of Christmas with a number of events including the traditional pantomine and the Christmas Fayre.

At the end of November, Northop Presents presented a fine rendition of Cinderella.  It was a great success and hailed by some to be the best yet! Including a large cast of local luvvies, it was a great laugh for all who attended.  Photos will be seen in the Gallery Section of the website very soon.

On the 6th December, the second Christmas Fayre was held featuring local morris dancers, Clerical Error and Mad Ed's Hot Five traditional jazz band.  There were some street entertainers, a hog roast and a popular bucking bronco ride to test the skill of the greatest riders. The Eduth Bankes hall hosted a craft fair. It was a fine sunny day and people were milling about in a car free High Street to enjoy the attractions. There will be more photos to be seen in the Gallery Section very soon.

As 2008 draws to a close we would like to wish you a very Happy New Year!!
